Biraben}1/W.11/2/22, in which we ordered 50 sets of Cable.- Kindly note, we have compiled a L.O.P. for the Wiring Casings, and these have been ordered up in accordance with Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s Chart. However, if more than 50 sets of the Cable are required in accordance with this Chart, the same should be ordered. We have received a complaint from the Experimental Department that 23/36's Single Core Cable (Total overall diameter not to exceed .130) which was ordered for the Klaxon Horn and Body Lighting, is too large to run up the Steering Column, owing to the Cable being slightly over-size. It has, therefore, been decided to use this Cable only for Body Lighting, and to order additional Cable specially for the Klaxon Horn, as follows :- SPECIFICATION OF CABLE FOR KLAXON HORN.- Flexible Cords - Twin. 22/38's Workshop Twin. Plain H.C. Copper Wires. Cotton covered. Layer of pure India Rubber, cotton covered, braided, and compounded Black. IT SHOULD BE PARTICULARLY SPECIFIED that the outside diameter of each core must not exceed .115, the amount required is 15 feet per chassis. The above Cable is a standard Workshop Lighting Cable, of which we enclose a sample. Kindly order up accordingly. BY/HEB.{H. Biraben} | ||
