Attention Mr. F.{Mr Friese} Ll Smith.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to the visit of the writer to your Works yesterday, would confirm having handed to you one 13½" Driven Plate incorporating our Cross Cushion Segment and fitted with Moulded Facings, which we understand you will arrange to put on trial at an early date; we look forward to receipt of your comments with interest.

It will be appreciated that the sample left with you had the cushion segments all set over on the pressure plate side; as promised, we are arranging for a similar type plate, but in which the segments are staggered alternatively, to be built up, and which we hope to place in your hands in approximately one weeks time.

Meantime, we are,

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
