The weather conditions are against any tests for water temperature on Mt. Vertoux. We have tried slow climbs, max. torque, fully laden, gears, but cannot get sufficient data to work upon.

With regard to carburation, there is no sign of misfire or loss of power due to richness.

The following are the temperatures recorded using top gear, third on corners and the steepest portions :-
