CHASSIS - FRONT AND REAR WHEELS.

I propose to try and bring in the new type wire wheel suitable for straight sided tyres at chassis 1251 of the postwar programme, that is, half way through "N" series. Will the D.O. kindly make a note to this effect on the Part List, but note that this is only tentative, as it may be later and in any case we will require a standardisation sheet.

Will Mr. Mills write to the Dunlop Company and tell them that we want to fix a definite delivery date for the 1250 sets of the present type of wheel and indicate that from then onwards we are endeavouring to bring in the new type wire wheel suitable for the straight sided tyres, provided it passes our Experimental Department's requirements successfully.
