Messrs. T.Firth & John Brown Ltd.,
Tinsley Works,
Sheffield.

Dear Sirs,

We understand that you have recently had certain of your representatives in U.S.A. studying laminated road spring manufacture.

The writer would be very pleased to visit your Works in order to ascertain your present views on producing road springs at a reasonably competitive price.

At the moment we know that we are paying you a very large price for springs mainly because your equipment is far from up to date.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
