W/S - Asy.{Len Astley - Orders} 1676 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.21/KW. 29.4.35. Private Car Insurance. Re Asy.{Len Astley - Orders}24/EC.1.4.35. Having returned to England I find that my O.M. car, Reg. No. Y.L.1836 has been sold, so that I do not want this car now covered by insurance. At the moment I have no intention of getting a new car for a month or so. I may wait until the new models appear. There is one point, however, which I should very much like to retain. This is having a policy which will cover me for third party for occasional use of cars belonging to R.R. Ltd. This is necessary to cover such times, when testing can be combined with a certain amount of pleasure, when I am not officially paid by R.R.Ltd. I should be very grateful if you would investigate this matter, as I do not want to have to refuse to drive on such occasions, although they are extremely rare. Of course when I get my new car I shall want to continue insurance with the G.A.A.C., who at the moment owe me a few shillings I believe. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} | ||
