To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM{Anthony F. Martindale} c. Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} c. Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/Ms. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}10/AP.5.7.37 1023 BENTLEY BRAKE DRUMS IN CHROMIDIUM. Owing to the high price of Lake & Elliot's 'Millenite' iron we have run in France a set of "Chromidium" brake drums made by the Midland Cylinder Co., and as these have been satisfactory we have started a Standardisation Sheet. Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/Ms. has got to order some brake drums now. The sheet is not yet completed. Millenite has advanced several shillings in price and we should save 7 shillings and 8 pence per car by buying Chromidium. If you approve, we will buy Chromidium.
