Hancock - Head Chateauroux}5/KT.23.2.31. PHANTOM II SHOCK DAMPER BALL END ANCHORAGE. We should like to draw your attention to the working loose of the anchorage G.77746/9 of the ball end of the rear shock damper anchorage. I again came across this trouble during my visit to Cricklewood. The rivet was found to be loose and the nut G.77188 I was given to understand was not holding the bracket due to the washer being too thin. In the future it is quite possible that the ball-end will have to withstand heavier loads, therefore the bracket should be attached to the axle more securely and be made strong enough to take increased loads.
