Watford 100 m.p.h. Speedometer.

Dear Sirs,

We are arranging to return to you the speedometer referred to in our HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/AD of the 30th December last, for overhaul and repair.

You will observe that the zero is considerably out and there does not appear to be any means of adjusting the same.

In order to further test these speedometers it will be necessary for you in addition to repairing this instrument, to adjust the revs, per mile to a figure of 770 to suit a 12/41 axle ratio.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED.
