We have found that in certain cases we have been able to cure groaning rear brakes by nothing more than taking up the diametrical clearance of the shoe fulcrum pin. We should be very interested to know whether you have tried this and whether it has affected a cure. Also whether you have found that any other clearance effects this particular problem.
