SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} x4484. E1/M23.1.32. X.4484 Referring to your memo SG{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}29/E19132., please find attached the treatise in question. We are interested to note that the author expresses views which coincide with the last para. of E2/AD6132. Independent springing would allow the whole of the body to be dropped about five inches with the system of transmission proposed, without usinga tunnel, and would also remove some of the limitations on weight distribution. Of course there would be some difficulties and disadvantages, but it might be profitable when time allows to make a rough scheme of such a chassis. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
