To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} (Handwritten) X4199 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG30.4.28. 15-EX CAR. (Handwritten) 48940 (Handwritten) +7830 The remains of this car which was smashed in France are now back at the Works. The body is entirely scrap. We have little doubt that the Insurance Co. will agree that it is a complete write-off. (The word 'write' is handwritten above the typed and struck-out word 'write'). We therefore require another body for this car. We would suggest that we obtain a small sports saloon made to WW. dimensions and scheme. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
