BODIES. X8830 X5830 On the new Barker Cabriolet which we have just received from the Coachbuilders, we find that on the doors they are using some taper wedges made of red fibre. It is surprising to us that it was ever agreed that the coachbuilders should use such material. As one would anticipate, although we have only had this car a few days, the fibre blocks have absorbed moisture and swelled, and jammed the doors. We are now having to replace them with other material. We think that any other bodies which have fibre wedges in the doors should have them replaced as soon as possible.
