Dear Sirs, CAR HEATERS. We have pleasure in enclosing copies of charts L.742/1 and 2 together with Physical Table describing same. We also enclose copy of list of tests made some years ago. The undernoted table gives the data of the heaters supplied by you and the present position of the tests. Originally received. (a) Harrison Buick Deluxe complete with motors. (b) Smiths Hadees (No motor). (c) Marston R.R. " (d) A.C. " 1 motor & coupling. Present Position. (a) Test completed and physical data recorded. (b) Awaiting test. (c) Motor supplied for use in this heater appears to be overloaded, taking over 4 amps on 12 volt, gets very hot and does not run the fans up to speed. (d) Matrix only supplied therefore cannot be tested. You will observe that we have completed the No. (A) item and we hope to complete item (b) this week. With regard to the (c) item we have made a provisional test with the motor which was at a later stage supplied by yourselves but the motor appears to be very much overloaded and the fan is rotating at an absurdly low speed. We, therefore, do not think it is worth while pursuing the trial with this particular motor. Item (d) consists of Matrix only and therefore we cannot carry out any useful test.
