Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /AJL1/LG31.1.29. JACK FOR 20 HP. CHASSIS. Owing to the fact that the Michelin people have ceased to manufacture jacks, we have found it necessary to look elsewhere for a jack suitable for the 20 HP. chassis. Messrs. Tangye were approached on the subject and have submitted several jacks for our inspection. The latest sample submitted was made specially to meet our requirements and in our opinion is a really sound job. The workmanship is definitely superior to that usually found in this accessory; it is a higher grade article than the Michelin 'Forest' jack. It is slightly heavier than the 'Forest' but is as light as the makers can make it without reducing its maximum safe load. We strongly recommend that this jack is adopted as standard equipment on the 20 HP. chassis. We are sending our only sample to Sales so that they may approve of it or otherwise. This matter is urgent as we are at present having to send 20 HP. chassis out with the 40/50 HP. type Dunlop jack. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /A.J.Lidsey. | ||
