ORIGINAL To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG6.1.27. ADJUSTABLE IDLER GEAR MOUNTING FOR 20 HP. CARS. X5130 Attached herewith is a blueprint in connection with the above which we have run on a 20 HP. car. This fitting is on 10-G-111 car at WW. and has been run on that car for 14,000 miles. You will see that the scheme follows the lines of the Phantom. We propose recommending this for standardisation, but before it is standardised we think it is probable you might like to go over the pieces and see whether they can be improved or lightened.
