Experimental Dept. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.11/MH.{M. Huckerby} 26th. January, 1939. L.P.Saunders, Esq., Messrs. Harrison Radiator Division, General Motors Corporation, Lockport, New York, U.S.A. Dear Mr. Saunders, Am writing to let you know that I am severing my connection with Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., in order to join the staff of Messrs. John Marston Ltd. as Development Engineer. Messrs. Marstons specialise in radiators, oil coolers and heat interchange work generally and make Rolls-Royce radiator cores at present. As I believe Messrs. Marstons (a subsidiary of Imperial Chemical Industries Ltd.) have some form of agreement with yourselves regarding availability of research results etc., I hope that this change will not mean the termination of our contact on heat exchange matters - in fact, I hope that it will mean that I may be able to meet you personally in the not too distant future. In the meantime, however, I would like once again to thank you for all the help that you have given me on automotive heat interchange problems, and to hope that the same assistance will be available for Mr. F.J.Hardy, the gentleman who will deal with the technical side of Rolls-Royce chassis heat interchange questions from now on. With best personal regards and the hope that I shall hear from you occasionally, Yours sincerely, | ||
