-5- Ha/GWR.19/RW.5.2.35. BATTERY - 6-VOLT. The battery is situated under the off side front valance and wing. The battery box is attached to the frame by two strips of metal bolted by set screws to the top of the frame. Two bayonet type pins go into the side of the frame to prevent it from chattering. The battery is got at by lifting the bonnet. It is well protected but not too easy of access. The loss of water by evaporation was not excessive, approx. 1 pint.
