X 409 s RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Les. 20/KW. 29.5.34. Shock Dampers. The strengthened intermediate lever F.86039 has proved to be unsuccessful on the Bumper Chassis, as the lever becomes loose on the square. In order to get a more uniform stress in this lever we were trying to take most of the load on only 2 corners of the square. Will you therefore produce 4 levers to F.86039, with the square hole similar to F.85054. On 2 of these levers we should like a .100" radius in the corner of the square.
