REMARKS:
Early 20 HP. and PH.I. - These can be cured by fitting cotton duck washers in place of bakelite.
PH.II. - Latest type low inertia drive with "window" type pressure plate cures this trouble. See Depot Sheets Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}190 and Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}227.

REMARKS:
New type valve springs with semi-open ends and circular grinding are now being used and are a definite improvement. The 20/25 HP. failures are believed to be due to a batch of faulty material.

PH.I and PH.II definitely cured by fitting nickel plated copper tubes in place of original aluminium tubes. Also bronze core hole plugs instead of aluminium. All cars being attended to. Depot Sheet Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}221.
