C.I. CONVENTIONAL 6 - INDUCTION SYSTEM AND CARBURETTER.

With the Conventional design of cylinder head to design E.CD.1167, the inlet ports and facings are exactly like the Wraith 111 and Bentley 111, so that it will be possible to use either the Wraith 111 or the Bentley 111 carburetters and induction systems on this engine.

As we are arranging for the engine to be fitted in a B.V. chassis, and have also instructed the B.111 valve lift characteristics, the Bentley 111 induction system should be used in its entirety.

The B.111 valve rocker cover should therefore be used on the C.I. Conventional 6 engine and not the Wraith 111 cover which is called for on E.CD.1167, as the B.111 type of air silencer is carried off the induction manifold and not off the rocker cover as is the case with the Wraith 111.

Will you therefore please instruct for the B.111 carburetters, inlet pipe, air intake pipe and air intake silencer to be used.
