-2- Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std.1/WH.8.9.38. The label attached to the drain cock should read approximately as follows:- "COOLING SYSTEM FILLED WITH ANTIFREEZE MIXTURE DO NOT DRAIN. MINIMUM SAFE ATMOSPHERIC TEMPERATURES (a) UNDER RUNNING CONDITIONS - 16°F (OR 16° OF FROST). (b) UNDER CONTINUOUS STATIONARY CONDITIONS - 21°F (OR 11° OF FROST). FOR LOWER TEMPERATURES CONSULT INSTRUCTION BOOK". Will By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} please issue the necessary instructions to the O.O. and Test Dept. We are in touch with Messrs. Price, the manufacturers of "Zero", with a view to obtaining a cost reduction for same - the figure quoted at the moment is 7/3 per gallon, provided we officially recommend 'Zero' in our instruction books. This works out at a cost of 3/10d. per chassis. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std. | ||
