OUTPUT SPEED PERFORMANCE CURVES OF
48 COIL, 40/50. DYNAMO WITH POLE PIECE MODIFICATION
FOR HIGH OUTPUT.

SPECIFIED CURRENT OR OUTPUT REQUIREMENTS FOR 40/50 H.P. S.S. DYNAMO.

(I) With no output reducing resistance.
(II) With output reducing resistance in field circuit.
(III) With output reducing resistance in armature circuit. (positive brush lead).

NB. In case III the useful watts on peak output (i.e. 230) plus the watts lost in resistance (i.e. 90) are equal to the full maximum output watts (i.e. 320) in case I.

AXIS LABELS:
AMPERE OUTPUT.
OPERATING VOLTAGES.
DYNAMO R.P.M.
