Re. KLAXON SCREEN WIPERS.

Referring to your LE.17/C.23.7.35., addressed to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} we took up with Messrs.Klaxon at the time the question of this screw working loose and they carried out a modification to the wiper which consists of the fitting to the wiper arm a special insert providing more mass thus giving a more uniformly tighter fitting on the bolt which worked loose, i.e. the bolt securing the wiper arm. Mr.Gent of Messrs.Klaxon will recollect this trouble, his letter reference dealing with this subject being CRG/MP.22.12.34.

The box that gave trouble on the car was made O.K. and is now working satisfactorily on the car in question so that it is impossible for us to let you have it back for inspection.
