STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.

Description of Parts: SOFT COPPER WASHER EXPANDED INTO EXISTING RADIATOR CAP TO REPLACE RUBBER WASHER.

Origin: The rubber washer swells and in some cases prevents the operation of the pressure valve. In such a state the radiator is liable to burst when the water boils.

Copper washers are now fitted to 19-EX, 20-EX, 22-EX, 25-EX, cars. In all cases the caps appear to be satisfactory. | No water leaks on to the top of the radiator under road conditions.
