Bailey - Chief Engineer} Sn.{Mr Sanderson} Re Exhaust Heated Carburetter. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} informs me that a Standardisation Sheet for exhaust heated carburetter for Phantom II is now being issued, so that it can be supplied as soon as possible to cars going to the U.S.A.. We have a customer - Mrs. Baring, who has been allotted 196-XJ, who will take her car to the U.S.A., and we have informed her that she can probably have the benefit of this small modification, which will make her car more suitable for the conditions arising in U.S.A.. Would it be possible to make arrangements for this exhaust heated carburetter to be fitted to Mrs. Baring's Chassis? Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} | ||
