Would you please estimate the man hours required to produce the extra parts required to make the 40 mm/Type BD{Mr Berend} gun automatic (i.e. type BF 8-round hopper feed auto.). Drawings and photographs have been sent to you by hand this morning.

This information, together with an estimate of the man hours to produce the BD{Mr Berend} gun supplied by the B.U.S.M., should give the total man hours required to produce the BF gun.

A copy of the B.U.S.M.'s estimate is attached.
