re. Elusive Knock in Phantom.

With reference to your C5/C23.2.28. and referring to the above being attended to on customers' cars, i.e. Miss Lena Cooper and Major Wybrant.

The Works are not quite happy as regards the method of cure, not has it been definitely settled to standardise such.

The matter is, however, coming up at the Technical Conference arranged for the 27th.inst., and unless the cases referred to are particularly urgent, I suggest that the matter be left over until some settlement is arrived at at the Conference.

I will press for some settlement there which will enable me to give some more definite reply to this memo.
