AXLE PIVOTS
LE CANADEL(Henry Royce's French residence)
X/68

With reference to the axle pivot recently received at Le Canadel(Henry Royce's French residence) which - the steel axle has broken at the root during test. It has been examined from fracture and is of opinion that the break is not due to a flaw in the material.

Mr Royce therefore wishes another test to be made of this type of pivot.

The correspondence relating to this pivot is returned No/P.12/1/UCE13
