Rolls-Royce Ltd., (Continued). -------------------- enlargements enclosed the vibrations of small amplitude are in each case due to wheeled teeth. We enclose also a slip of actual record taken from a geared shaping machine. This record should be viewed with a microscope giving a total magnification of from 20 to 30 diameters. We also enclose a photograph of an instrument recently made but we are now redesigning and further simplifying this and the price is therefore not yet fixed, but it will probably be round about £40.
