- 2 - Then try for better springs more or less by blind trial but with a fairly complete knowledge of the important harmonics. The new springs are the result. I shall have a set in 404-MR, the car I propose to bring over, and shall bring a further set for you. They appear exceptionally quiet on the PI, but we cannot say whether they will give equally good results on PII. If they do not however, I should suggest sending the Cleveland Wire Spring Co. the parts for making a PII test, and give them an opportunity to make us some springs with minimum "surge" effect, as they seem rather successful at it.
