EXPERIMENTAL P.II. No. 1. for R.R.A.I.

Barkers tell us they have been unable to complete the painting of the back wings and they have offered us a choice of two alternatives -

i. that they should hand over the body to-day to your lorry without the back wings which they could keep and paint and send on to you in about a week's time;

ii. that they should despatch the back wings unpainted, making us a suitable allowance and leaving you to paint them when you paint the front wings.

As you must in any case paint the front wings after cutting the valances, we have agreed to ii. as it will probably help to save valuable time.

You will be able to paint the back wings whilst the painting of the front wings is in progress.

We have told Barkers to send you sufficient black cellulose for you to deal with all four wings, etc.
