E.3/HP.15.12.33.

For future series of Bentleys we are preparing another scheme in which the filler will be definitely situated outside of the luggage space, and we are also incorporating in this scheme a feature consisting of a long inverted channel tapering away to nothing somewhere slightly beyond the centre of the tank, which is intended to effectively evacuate the air even with the tank inclined by the camber of the road so as to overcome the difficulty of filling in the last two gallons.

This scheme will also be provided with a sealed filler and vent.
