BENTLEY CHASSIS - BORG & BECK CLUTCH.
---------------------

The Experimental Department point out that as a result of some tests which they have carried out, it is important that the pressure plate of these clutches should be balanced independently of the cover, and that they have arranged for Messrs. Borg & Beck to correct them if we will return the clutches. In addition, the Experimental Department wish to revert to the original clutch springs which are apparently 147 to 155 lbs., and are painted brown, whereas the clutches delivered, and which are to be returned, are at present/with 180 lbs. /fitted to 190 lbs. springs and painted red.

Messrs. Borg & Beck have promised to deal with this work promptly, and assume that you will arrange for the clutches to be returned immediately.
