| To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X500 a Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.3/KW.29.11.35. Bearing Wear in Shock Dampers. We want to try the main lever bearing bushes F.100879 and F.85059 in cast-iron instead of bronze. We have been experiencing examples of bearing wear causing knocking and glandleaks. We should like the rear dampers of 21-G-IV to be fitted with cast iron bushes. If these cannot be fitted before this car leaves, we suggest that a pair of dampers should follow the car.
