(2) the distributor. It makes the wiring less straggly, and it should be electrically better. The final move is to use an improved coil as on Lec 1653 permanently supported from the wheelcase. To make the wiring as straight-forward as possible the coil box cover has been modified so that the L.T. wires come in and go out on opposite sides. With these schemes it is intended that the bal-last resistance should be carried on the dash. We think it could be on a level with the distribution board as sketched on Lec 1656, and that a suitable nozzle could be provided on the local section of the wiring conduit. The L.T. wire to the ignition coil should be run along inside the conduit carrying the head and side lamp wires on the driver's side of the chassis. When detailing, the oil discharge fitting attached to the wheelcase, as shewn on Lec 1653, should be moved further back and made smal-ler to clear the future position of the fan, which posi-tion comes into being when the radiator with the perma-nent scheme of shutters is adopted.
