Re new Instruction Book and R.R. Success
You may be interested to include the Monte Carlo Rally 1912, when a six-cylinder Rolls-Royce won the Paris-Monaco Section out of an entery list of 32 cars.
The six-cylinder Rolls-Royce proved to be winner.
The following cars also arrived at Monaco in competition with the Rolls-Royce.
Gobron, Mercédès, Turcat-Mery, Peugeot, Berlid Delage, Lion-Peugeot, Delaunay-Belleville (2) Renault (2), Piccard-Pictet, Rochet-Schneider, De Dion, Ford, Lorraine-Dietrich, Sizaire, Niclausse, Vinot.
The winning Rolls-Royce was the only English Car in this section.
The prize, (2,000 francs and trophy) was awarded for maintenance of speed, distance covered, number of passengers carried, comfort, and state of car at the finish.
