NEW CAR FOR R.{Sir Henry Royce} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}4/M26.9.30. ORIGINAL x8992. x7120. x7770. We interviewed SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} yesterday and he has agreed to the building of a replica of 26-EX. for exp. purposes, and for the use of R.{Sir Henry Royce} this winter in France. We would be glad to receive a short chassis universal type subframe in about 14 days, sent direct to the coachbuilders. The body will be built by Park-Ward and we see no difficulty in having the car ready by the end of the first week in Dec. The body will be mounted most likely by yourselves in Derby, and we shall fix the date of delivery for the middle of Nov. The chassis will be standard except for the following: (1) Revised bonnet radiator & dash, with concealed side hinge.
