Issues with balance weights for pressed steel wheels and a request for a drawing of the original clip.

Huckerby} 27.2.40. BALANCE WEIGHTS FOR PRESSED STEEL WHEELS. We are sending two balance weights designed for use with Sankey pressed steel wheels. The rougher of the two stampings is of the type originally used by the experimental department, and we understand that the spring clip was made from a model, since no drawing had then been made. This balance weight fits onto the rim correctly and is quite satisfactory. Apparently a drawing was made, and parts ordered out-side resulted in the smoother of the two balance weights. This will not clip satisfactorily onto the wheel rims. The fault seems to lie in the spring clip which, although made to the drawing, does not resemble the clip on the original model.
