Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter ref. WED/HB{C. E. Harcombe} of the 11th. inst.

What we really want to know is - is your ordinary Chronograph capable of recording time intervals, or is it invariably supplied with an auxiliary instrument which conveys the time impulses to one of the pens?

The designation of the instrument would lead one to suppose that it contained some time recording element incorporated integrally.

We quite understand that for our purpose an additional contact breaker is necessary to enable us to read to 1/10 ths. seconds.

Yours faithfully,
