Please receive herewith :- E.CD.1066 Large Capacity Oil Filler - Phantom 111. This filler is designed to overcome the complaints received by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} regarding the angle of the filler mouth and also the restricted passage of the oil through the filler casting. The angle of inclination of the orifice has been considerably reduced and the capacity of the filler is increased by over 30% and the restriction to flow reduced accordingly. The filler cap details are standard, and also the facing for the filler on the crankcase is unaltered. Will you please detail and instruct experimentally with a view to standardisation in the near future. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
