C.W.Ward, Esq. -3- 15th. December, 1939.

We should be interested to have your answers to the questions asked in our letter of the 23rd. November when we come to Park Wards.

Unless you hear to the contrary we shall arrive at noon on Tuesday, December 19th.

We think that plant, i.e. painting equipment, drying ovens etc. should not be confused with jigs and tools. In other words, it is obviously unfair to expect the first 6,000 bodies to bear the cost of this expensive equipment which should have a useful life of 5 or 6 years.

There is no reason at all why the custom-built bodies for the rationalised range should not take advantage of the up-to-date painting and drying equipment, thereby contributing towards overheads.

Yours sincerely,
