PHANTOM III BEARINGS

At the Chassis Conference on the 17th inst.it was decided to fit 15 Production P.III Engines with Hall's Metal Bearings No. AC.6.

These engines should be put through the routine test with the oil cooler cut out.

Will you please arrange for the oil temperatures to be taken and the bearings dismantled for examination after test.

It is not intended to despatch the chassis with oil cooler disconnected - this should only be done for purposes of test.
