the trouble.

We are very interested to note your comments regarding the possibility of the rubber connections in the tank being a possible cause of trouble, and will, of course, be only too pleased to co-operate with you in any tests.

It has been suggested that if the length of the bottom bearing is reduced, this would decrease the tendency for the bearing to stick. We feel that even if this course were adopted and the clearance in the bearing increased, it is not a fundamental cure for the trouble and we shall be glad if you will kindly let us have your reactions to this suggestion.

Awaiting your further news which will receive our very best attention.

Yours faithfully,
for S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.
