SALES DIRECTOR'S OFFICE 16th July 1936. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Attention of Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham. Dear Sirs, We find on investigation that our idea of offering a jack which would be interchangeable is unfortunately impossible of achievement, as your brackets call for an entirely special design. We much regret, therefore, that the scheme is impracticable and are afraid, in any case, it would be some time before we could design and manufacture special jacks to suit your brackets. We sincerely trust, however, that this does not preclude the possibility of standardizing JACKALL, if not on the Phantom lll, on one of your other Chassis, although if we may express an opinion, we are sure that you will agree that it is inadvisable to fit anything which has not been thoroughly tried and proved on the "world's best car." With renewed regrets, We beg to remain, Yours patiently, Comonols 1 | ||
