Wraith II Propeller Shaft. We send herewith N.Sch.5027 showing the flanges on the gearbox, and back axle to suit the propeller shaft to be supplied by Messrs. Hardy Spicer, and shewn by N.Sch. 5024. The gearbox flange (the balance of which is important) is machined circular, but the axle flange is approximately rectangular to save weight, and is left as forged around the circumference. Both flanges should be tried in mild steel. N.Sch.5027 herewith. E/HDY.{William Hardy} | ||
