r4523. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/AD. September 21st, 1931. The Nivex Gauge Co. Ltd. Tipping Street, Ardwick, Manchester. Dear Sirs, We have been running the small gauge on our car for some little time and it has now suddenly ceased to function. We believe the trouble to be in the head and therefore send it to you for examination. We shall be obliged if you will let us know what the trouble is and return it when it has been rectified. At the same time we should like the scale calibrated similarly to the super-imposed written figures. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
