-2- Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/WJ.31.1.33. Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} The cure is to ease off the serrations on the pitch line, but at the same time they should be examined to see that there is ample clearance at the top and bottom of the teeth. It does not matter if there is .010 or .012 slack in these teeth. We believe there have been cases where the clutch trunnion sleeve has been tight on the driven member of the clutch. This should be looked for in cases of complaint. When we have criticised the design of the 25 HP. clutch it has not been because there should be any likelihood of it slipping, rather that there was a possibility of excessive wear and tearing up of the surfaces. In the cases of customers complaints these faults have not arisen. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
