X.2048 7 C A T To HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} E2/G28/8/20. RECEIVED RE SPRING WASHERS. Would you kindly send us specimens of - Grover Washers K.4500. Flat Spring Washers K.9000. Split Washers K.7100 Thackery Washers K.3800 and K.3900. for - 5 BA, 2BA, .250, .312, .375, .437, and .500 or as many of the sizes named as are available. It seems unnecessary to have such a large variety of spring washers. Mr. Royce does not like the Grover, and he may wish to cancel it altogether. Could you kindly say if you think it is necessary to retain the Grover Washer for any purpose, instead of using split washer K.1700, which latter is very like the Grover, but does not bite in.
