13th. July, 1939.

John Marstons Ltd.,
WOLVERHAMPTON.

For the attention of Mr. Steadman.

Dear Sirs,

We are sending you herewith a print to PD.464 showing modifications to the radiator mountings for the Silver Dawn and Silver Wraith radiator for 31.G.VII. and 32.G.VII.

We are also enclosing a scheme PD.466 for the 'Ripplet' radiator which differs from the 'Ripple' radiator in the following main particulars.

(1) Dummy shutters.
(2) Bottom of shutters dropped.
(3) B.V. depth for top tank, with consequently deeper matrix, following a deletion of calorstat.
(4) Drain cock fitted to bottom tank.
(5) Modified top part of yoke pressing due to probable use of headlamps in wing or catwalk, and consequent concealed stay from yoke to wingstay.
(6) Added pressing on yoke for mounting.
(7) Hollow in bottom of top tank deleted.

We consider that there will be sufficient information herewith to make the radiator and should be glad if you would proceed with this as soon as possible.

Cont'd. {John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
